Producer’s Biography: Alexandra Blue
Alexandra Blue graduated from a Media degree majoring in Film/Video Production and an Arts Degree majoring in Psychology from the University of Adelaide in 2010. Alexandra also studied Cult and B Grade
cinema at the University of Toronto in 2008, and developed a love of film during her studies.

‘Daddy, Daddy’ is the second short Alexandra has produced, and the film is very close to her heart. She is passionate about telling stories that reach out to an audience and share the same values and ideas on life that
she has. She enjoys making films with a strong focus on the visual. Her first film Error’s Escape was screened Australia wide and won ‘Best Animation’ at the South Australian Screen Awards 2010. ‘Daddy, Daddy’ was
produced shortly therafter through the Raw Nerve Initiative, followed by another short funded by the MRC,‘Unfinished Thoughts’.

Alexandra currently works in Industry Development and Production at the South Australian Film Corporation, and she is rapidly gaining useful knowledge about the industry. Alexandra is looking forward to producing
more films in the future and using all the new skills she has gained throughout this project.
