Short Focus Films was formed by Co-Directors Simon Williams and Brendon Skinner early 2009. They joined with their award winning producer, Megan Huitema, after studying filmmaking at Flinders University together. They set out to start a production company that focused primarily on entertaining its audiences with upbeat, engaging films that have heart.
They carry this methodology not only into their fiction work, but also into their corporate productions. They work on a range of video productions for clients around South Australia, providing them with high-calibre work for their business.
After the success of their first short films ‘Monkey Bar Mafia’ and ‘See-Saw Sweethearts’, they went on to develop three more shorts, and a feature film. The first to enter production was ‘Toot Toot’, a lovable short about the true spirit of Christmas.
