Blackbirds is a trio of musicians made up of Adi Noersadi (guitar), Benhur Helwend (ukulele & vocals) and Renee Simone (ukulele & vocals). Based in Byron Bay, Blackbirds came together a year ago making and singing island-style, laid back music that you can't help but love to listen to.
Blackbirds music is about making an intimate connection with everyone in their company. Watching Blackbirds is like going to hang out with them in their lounge room. See them live and you'll see exactly what we mean. They are endearing and welcoming hosts, a pleasure at every show.
The success of this project will enable Blackbirds to bring their easy listening sound to more fans nationwide either by CD or on tour to a venue near you.
