Jiao is a Chinese-Australian emerging filmmaker with a passion for bringing engaging, important and culturally diverse stories to the audience.
He began his film career working as a crew member on a variety of local and international feature films, TV series and TV commercials. His production credits include: “Children of The Silk Road”, “Hunt Angels”, “Justice League of America”, “Mao’s Last Dancer”, “East of Everything 2”, “Rescue Special Ops” and numerous TV commercials for major clients.
Jiao also spent a year working for a boutique production company See Pictures where he worked with a producer-writer team to develop a slate of feature film projects. In addition to gaining valuable filmmaking expertise by working with some of the industry’s best, Jiao is also actively developing a slate of his own stories for the big and small screens. He brings to any project both storytelling skills and a thorough understanding of the practical side of production.
