Project Description

My most generous comrades, as you may know now I have been selected to show at Mercedes Benz Australian Fashion Week 2012 in the TAFE Innovator's show.  It is a great honour to have been selected from what was an extremely talented year.  It hasn't even really set in as I would have never of thought that this could/would be possible ! 

Again it would not have been possible from the support of family, friends and teachers to get to this point here !  There are several costs involved that I will make this the show that will be a huge moment in my life.

I will continue to endeavor to cut, sew, knit, bead and embellish everything myself which helps me save money to spend on materials and such, but it does take a lot longer to get everything done.  Every fabric with texture on it in my range has been created by me, by hand involving a lot of hours hand sewing and such.

Some of the costs involved in this project:
  • $600 on extra fabric needed
  • $650 on beads
  • $1000 for promotional material costs (swing tags, printing etc.)
  • $1000 for Look book photography, studio and model fees
  • $1200 on 2 knitting machines that will aid knitting of my non-beaded knits

Your money will help pay for look book photography/model fees and printing of promotional material.  Any extra money made past my funding goal will pay for the other costs involved listed above.  No contribution is too small ! Don't forget the rewards you can obtain ! They're pretty good if I may say so myself !

I will try my hardest to cut costs, so that any money you donate goes further.  I thoroughly appreciate your generosity in helping me achieve this life goal.
