Story
After decades of corporate fighting and greed all of the earths resources have been consumed, forcing the exploration and exploitation of the surrounding planets. You, as the head of on of the five corporations must direct the actions to which will, with both skill and luck, bring victory to your cause. Will you escape the dying Steel Star and find fortune in the galaxy, of will you crash and burn at the hands of your rivals…
Description
Steel Stars is a 4x (eXplore. eXpand. eXploit. eXterminate) table top strategy game in pre-production and development. Using concepts normally found in computer games and combining them with the social and tactile traditions of a table-top board game, when have created a fast and frenzied game of military might and political intrigue. In the vain as such classics as Masters of Orion and Sins of the Solar empire, for computer, and traditional games like Twilight Imperium we have found a way to get a new design and eliminate a lot of the aspects that, we feel, bog down the enjoyment of these games.
