Project Description

THE AIM
To get people from around the world sharing their stories & ideas with a complete stranger, and receiving one from someone they have never met.

It's also to get people thinking about the future.

It's like getting a pen pal, but better.


WHY?
Sharing stories is important. There are over 6 billion people in the world and every person has an individual story or idea worth sharing, or a voice worth hearing.


HOW DOES IT WORK?
We want to see/hear stories from as many participants as possible but we will only be able to do the project if we reach our goal of 20 participants.

We will get everyone's name and address and randomly select another unknown participant for you to send your story to. Your name and address will also be given to a different participant for you to receive a story.

Once we have everyone's name and address and the project gets the go ahead, we will create a blog, to capture the stories that people receive. So when you receive your story from a stranger, scan it onto the computer and send it into us for us to put on the blog and share with everyone else.


HOW TO SHARE YOUR STORY
On a piece of paper: write, draw, share a poem, or all of the above. Anything really be creative.

Just make sure it fits into a regular sized envelope, your writing is legible, and any drawings can be seen easily. Remember your story will be scanned and sent in for everyone to see.

WHAT THE MONEY WILL BE USED FOR
The money will be used to pay a blogger to create, update, & maintain a blog, so that everyone can see the stories they receive and send in.


DON'T WORRY
The list of people's names and addresses will only be seen by us during the project. And won't be given to anyone else or used for any other reason than this project.

Your name and address will only go to another participant for you to receive a story.
